Background
dafür supports people with disabilities in Vorarlberg (Austria) on their journey toward an independent professional life—from the end of compulsory schooling through retirement. The organization offers professional counseling and individualized support for young people, adults, and employers. Services include youth coaching, work assistance, and job coaching. The goal is to open up career opportunities, integrate people into the labor market in a sustainable way, and support businesses in inclusive employment.

Task
New executive leadership, new department heads, cost-cutting measures—the company is currently in a critical phase of its more than 15-year history. The task at hand is to seize these changes as an opportunity and guide the organization’s continued development with an outside perspective.
Solution
The support is provided at various levels of the organization and is aimed at both senior management and the teams. In addition to regular strategic discussions with senior management, during which strategic issues are examined and refined, the collaboration also includes facilitating supervision sessions with the entire team. Furthermore, the scope of services includes the design, structuring, and facilitation of participatory departmental meetings. The goal is to create space for exchange, shared reflection, and the further development of collaboration within the organization—while simultaneously fostering team cohesion and strengthening the team’s shared identity.
